Gun laws.
In Malaysia, people are prohibited to own a gun. The reason is because it brings a lot of controversial as well as debate on this issue. Even I do not have a real gun, but I do have a paintball gun. In real life, I would like to have a real gun. If you own a gun, you probably will feel a sense of safety because holding a gun can simply means you're not likely to hurt by others. And also, you will not be threaten when you're facing a robber, conversely, you can pointing your gun to the robber. Indeed, gun law shouldn't be prohibited in Malaysia since the crime rate in cities are increasing all the time. However, the gun should be placed where the children are not able to get it. It is consider as dangerous if children are holding the gun, because they have not enough understanding about the gun. The children are not able to hold the gun properly when the gun recoiled. Children will also simply fire with the gun because they feeling it is a kind of heroic action (due to the imitation from TV program). At last, the gun provides both benefits as well as bad just depend on how you use it.

Chinese privately own guns are illegal. I agree with you on guns and if there are guns in my home, I will put them away from children. Of course, the most important reason to have a gun in my home is self-protection.The United States citizens have a right to use guns because of their freedom and democracy
ReplyDeleteWe can't define that gun is good or bad, just like you say that "the gun provides both benefits as well as bad just depend on how you use it. " I think people who own a gun should have a deep understanding about gun so that they can use it correctly.
ReplyDeleteLike you said, if people don't have guns, they may not have the ability to protect theirselves when meet danger. But, if everyone have guns, there will also have many problems, for example, two boys are fighting with each other,one of them really hates the other, and they both have guns,so they may just shoot each other with guns in public. You know the result will be terrible if many people do this. So, you can't really tell it is good or not to have guns or not have guns.
ReplyDeleteMany of Japanese people want to shoot gun because of the games, movies and TV programs like Malaysia.TV programs are sometimes bad for children.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you Boon that we should have a gun to protect ourself. However, we need to keep it safe and doesn't hurt anyone. I think before we should know how to use it in a right way first.
